Sketches, Animations, Doodles, and Fun Stuff…

DISCLAIMER: I’m not a graphic designer and don’t pretend to be.

When I was learning Figma, part of it was understanding vector graphics. I really enjoy it and find it fun to play with the curves and shapes. I was told that I need to show it off a little more, so I decided to add this page. I hope they brings you joy.

LinkedIn banners:

These all started when I was creating a brand concept for my portfolio. I sketched different supplies from my desk.

Sketch Pad:

This was a fun doodle to create a little more realistic sketch that was based on drawing a wireframe.

Icon Design:

This was a challenge I jumped at. I created an Icon for Pride month that was inspired by my running club and the inclusive pride flag. The Black and brown shoe represents the foundation of pride and the people of color that started the movement.

Doodle:

Hey, sometimes you just have to have some fun. This little guy came from a marker drawing I saw online. Just fun and silly.

Avatar Designs:

The avatar was created from an outline of my picture and kept going from there. The far right is inspired by a graphic I saw online.

Avatar Animation:

Taking my avatar a step further, this is the animation from my homepage. I created this in Figma, ran the prototype animation, and recorded it to make a GIF in photoshop. I chose to skip the mouth movement as it felt a bit much.
